As a designer sometimes you come up with ideas that you think will change the world. (or at least your own.)
I made this weekly schedule thinking that it will let me organize my tasks and help me with meetings, projects, etc. I wanted it to be printed on a 34in x 22in translucent film-like material that could be rolled and hung on a wall, almost like a whiteboard but rollable.
While looking for a printer that could do this job, I learned that producing my prototype of this schedule was too expensive and complicated. I printed it on a 8.5in x 11in transparency but that was it, no hanging, no big print and no sales. (oh yes, I wanted to sell it on eBay.)
It reminded me of the idea of a lamp I had (of which I will not talk about) and details we oversee when we forget about technical limitations. These technicalities undermine our ideas and vision as artists and somehow prevents us from changing the world.
